I work where things get complicated.

We live inside systems that were not built for all of us to thrive. Many of them are under strain. Some are failing us outright. And still, we have organizations to lead, choices to make, bodies to live in, people to care for, things to create, and lives we want to live.

My work starts there.

I'm a strategist, executive, writer, facilitator, and creator. Across that work, I help people understand what we're navigating, reckon with what we've built and inherited, and find ways to move through a world that rarely offers us a clean answer.

RIGHT NOW

My aunt left me a universe.

When my aunt Geanora died, she left behind a supernatural mystery series, a world full of characters I knew and loved, and more story than she had been able to bring into the world.

Now, I’m returning to that universe. I’m beginning with Curiosity, bringing the books back to readers one chapter at a time, and finding my way toward the place where her pages end and mine begin.

I work with organizations, executives, and boards when something important needs attention: direction, decisions, change, conflict, leadership, or a conversation that needs someone outside the room.

I've spent more than 20 years working inside organizations and helping change them.

Freedom & Desire is where I write.

Decorative geometric line with a star-shaped element in the center.

I write about the things I'm trying to understand, the things I get wrong, and the things I can't leave alone: bodies, power, identity, culture, grief, pleasure, politics, relationships, motherhood, work, and the distance between the world as it is and the world we keep saying we want.

Sometimes I know what I think before I start writing. Often, I don't.

There are questions I don't believe we can think our way through entirely.

Decorative gold and pink starburst design with horizontal lines on either side.

Through Hourglass, I work with astrology, tarot, intuition, deep listening, and what I know about people to help you look at a question or moment from somewhere you may not have looked before.

You don't need to know exactly what you believe. You just need to be open to what might emerge.

I work closely with the Center for Body Trust and founders Hilary Kinavey and Dana Sturtevant, including co-hosting the Body Trust Podcast.

Body Trust changed my life. It also changed how I understand bodies, power, care, and what it means to try to live differently inside systems that have never been neutral about whose bodies are allowed to belong.
